8th Annual Ice Magic International Ice Sculpture Competition January 18 - 20, 2002
Ice Magic is a yearly ice carving competition held at Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. The team competition is held in front of the Chateau Lake Louise. While the individual competition is held in the town outside the Lake Louise Inn and the Post Hotel.
Each team is given 15 blocks of ice to carve their works of art from. Individuals are given 5 block of ice. Each block weighs 300 lbs.
This is the Fifth year I have attended Ice Magic. Like last year I stayed at Deer Lodge. I ended up taking 10 rolls of film this year. That is 240 pictures, which are presented here. The images are of low resolution and are copyrighted so please do not download the images. If you are interested in getting copies of the some of the images here please contact me so we can make arrangements.
